Its a gorgeous day out today.  I would prefer to be outdoors all day but unfortunately have to be at work.  Wish I had my laptop with me so I could just go and sit outside on one of those picnic tables and work.  But unfortunately even if I did have my laptop it would be no use because the a/c adapter is messed up and my  laptop does not charge.  Oh well ... I had to pay 60$ to get another adapter yesterday.  Not sure how long its going to take for it to get to me but when I have it ... Oh man!  Freedom!  I hate wires and cables.  

So on to the actual content of the blog.... There is this book of 2 plays called Skin and Liars by Denis Foon.  First time I read these 2 plays was in grade 10 drama class and immediately fell in love.  The play Liars is one of those plays that you don't necessarily relate to but

I feel like blogging today but I'm running a complete blank.  I picked out my activity for today from the 100 Ideas cup.  Read it and popped it back in the cup.  This happened probably about 5 times before I gave up.  The strange thing is ... I actually feel like doing something ... research, blogging, drawing something ... going outside!  But I just don't want to do anything.  I'm not even thinking about anything.  I think I am just tired.  Woke up this morning with a huge headache that I had when I fell asleep.  Don't want to take Tylenol because its not that kind of a headache.  Its from my jaw which is hurting because of my shoulder which is hurting because of my wrist.  It always leads back to my wrist.  Uncool.  Ok so here is what I will do then ... Something horrible happened to me this weekend.  I was sitting at home calmly and peacefully checking my mail and talking to a couple friends on MSN.  Then when I was done I closed my laptop but didn't shut it off which is normal and left the house.  Had a great day and headed home a few hours later to watch LOST.  After LOST I pick up my laptop and go into my MSN and find

Came in to work early today and found all the lights off. This happens quite often because all the employees in this office are lazy as ass and they don't show up till 10:30 earliest.  I turned on all the lights, walked into my office and saw my 100 Ideas cup on the floor and all my little ideas all over the place.  I got slightly angry because I now do not know if any of them are missing.  Anyway so after I calmed down a little bit I put them all back in the cup and put it back where it belongs.  Whoever did this is going to pay today ... big time!  Anyway so i was on my way to put my milk away into the fridge that I had just bought from the grocery store and i see one poor little idea still sitting on the ground.  I picked it up and figured I would use this little guy as my activity for the day and this is what it said:

Hello everyone.

So I had planned today that I would hang out at work for a little while since I didn't have much to do today and sneak out for a little while since its so nice outside.  But unfortunately that is not going to happen.  Meetings have come up and it is quite the disappointing morning so far work wise.  As soon as these meetings are over and I have nothing to do after... I am out of here!  Which is highly unlikely lol.  But I can try right? I'm leaving early anyway so no biggy.  

So while sitting here trying to figure out a game plan for the day I figured before I get busy with my meetings

I missed posting a few activities from the '100 Ideas' post because of the weekend so here they are:

17 – Combine 2 activities that have not been combined before – May 14, 2010

Me and my little brother do a lot of strange things.  Me, Iqbal (my husband), Haider (my brother) and a friend of ours were sitting around at Boston Pizza watching a Hockey game.  There was also a dart board area in that place which we were interested in.  Since Me and Haider are not really interested in hockey we decided to go down to the dart board and play.  But with our luck … there were no darts!  What kind of place has a dart board and no darts?  Seriously!  So we had to … as always … makeshift our dart game.  I will call it Finger Darts. Can't Stand It!

I have realized why I dislike hockey so much.  Its not that I don't like the sport.  I actually have nothing against the sport.  I just have a serious problem with the fact that the people who watch hockey have absolutely no care for the rest of the world.  I have noticed this with everyone who watches hockey.  It all of a sudden becomes so important that nothing around them matters.  They cant possibly miss a goal or a min of it because if they do ... the ground will probably rip open and the whole world will get destroyed.  Maybe I am exaggerating slightly but in all seriousness ... when hockey fans sit down to watch hockey they drown out the rest of the world. Completely!  At a party ... these people will put on the game.  My question to these people is ... if you really just wanted to watch the game... why didn't you just stay home.  Was there any propose of you showing up to this party?  Because I haven't seen you and you came to hang out with me.  It is disrespectful!  They are also so engrossed in their game that it doesn't matter who it is thats calling them or how important the situation is... they will not move.  My parents have always taught us to weigh our priorities before

I have been a little preoccupied over the past 4 - 5 days.  Iqbal had planned a birthday thing for me on the 8th which was amazing!  Thank you baby!  And also thanks for coming and hanging out with me everyone.  I had an awesome time and I'm glad all of you were there to make it more awesome *muah*,  And then Mothers day ... which was also a pretty good day.  I got to hang out with both my moms and give them presents which they loved.  And then my ACTUAL birthday day which is always spent with family.  I got to see everyone and hang out with them after a long time.  That was also fun!  Then I got sick and had to skip 2 days of work which was good but I was sick ... which is not so good.  But Now I am back!  Still sick but back!

100 Ideas ... 007 - Smells In my Neighborhood

My neighborhood smells pretty ok most times but I live right by the water and at times it can smell like fish in the summer.  Not cooked fish or dead fish… just live fish.  Not sure if you know what I mean but say you go to the zoo or an aquarium and you look in one of the tanks.  There is this smell that comes out of the tank.  It’s quite gross if you ask me.  Live fish smell NASTY.    AND on top of that… the mosquito looking bugs that fly around everywhere.  Then there are those days when it rains …
